Homemade Blackened Salmon

Last night’s dinner was SOOO GOOD guys!!  I made homemade blackened salmon! *Shocked Face Emoji*  I was pretty impressed with myself as well! HAHA!  Plus, it was a carbless dinner so that makes me feel even more like a BADASS!!  I added a mix of broccoli and cauliflower but you could obviously add any veggie of your choice & a carb too :No Judgement: ;) It would be great paired with brown rice or quinoa!  Okay here’s the recipe!!

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes

Ingredients
·         Fresh Salmon
·         Paprika
·         Onion Powder
·         Garlic Powder
·         Thyme
·         Oregano
·         Cayenne Pepper
·         Kosher Salt
·         Black Pepper
·         Olive Oil

Directions

Cover both sides of your salmon in the blackened seasoning, depending on how spicy you like it.  Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium high heat and place the salmon in the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes then once the salmon until a nice crust is formed.  Flip the salmon to the other side for another 3 to minutes until salmon is cooked through.  Serve warm!!
